T2 Resellers

Question 22: I belong to a branch. I only see my branch listed on the deal, but not the Headquarter or other branches. Can I order or claim in any case for the Headquarter or other branches of the T2?

Special Price Communication does not automatically list the Headquarter or all the other branches of a T2 if only one particular branch of a reseller is listed on a deal. However, the Headquarter and the additional branches are added automatically in HP Inc.'s internal order and claim tools. Therefore, there is no issue for a T1 to order or claim for a Headquarter or a branch of a T2 which is not listed on a deal.

B2B Push Deal Communication

Question 24: How do I enable B2B deal communication?
Answer:

Push deal communication can be initiated via B2B file transfer. This requires a B2B on-boarding process with HP Inc. to enable this form of communication.

If you are interested in participating in the B2B communication process, please contact your local Operations Account Manager (OAM) to enable this.

Question 25: What file formats are supported in the B2B deal push communication?
Answer:

The file formats supported as part of the B2B file transfer (via SFTP and AS2 pass-through) are:

  1. Microsoft Excel
  2. Text
  3. XML

EDI (X.12 and EDIFACT) is also supported for B2B connectivity.

These files could be formatted in a summary format (each row represents a deal) or in header-detail format. Of these, HP Inc. recommends XML as the best fit since some fields (especially extensive deal comments) may cause the generated Excel spreadsheet to be unreadable.
