Special Price Communication uses primarily the accounting rate. The accounting rate is updated once at the beginning of the month. In some cases, customer specific exchange rates are applied for Global accounts. In these situations, a special note is indicated - ‘Quote translation uses exchange rates specific to this customer’. Very rarely also pricing rates are applied on deals.

However, the Headquarter and the additional branches are added automatically in HP Inc.'s internal order and claim tools. Therefore, there is no issue for a T1 to order or claim for a Headquarter or a branch of a T2 which is not listed on a deal.

The file formats supported as part of the B2B file transfer (via SFTP and AS2 pass-through) are:
EDI (X.12 and EDIFACT) is also supported for B2B connectivity. These files could be formatted in a summary format (each row represents a deal) or in header-detail format. Of these, HP Inc. recommends XML as the best fit since some fields (especially extensive deal comments) may cause the generated Excel spreadsheet to be unreadable.
